I'm pretty excited to announce that preorders are up for two new Assault releases.

First up is the debut LP from ACCEPT THE CHANGE, a young and promising band from belgium. Expect passionate modern hardcore with melodic hooks. Check out "Nameless Boys" from "Escapism Is A Dying Art" here: http://acceptthechange.bandcamp.com and order the LP from the store.

Also up for preorder is "Something We Can Build", the brand new EP from ENOUGH. Powerful youth crew straight edge hardcore that will have you fingerpoint and sing along in no time flat.This one puts a huge smile on my face.

Of course, both are hightly recommended and there'll be colored vinyl while stocks last. Expected ship date is september 2011.

Up next is the debut LP from OLD GHOSTS, a new band featuring members of DEAD HEARTS and picking up where they left off.

JUST WENT BLACK preorders are up now in the Assault store. Their new 12" is called "Dead Ends" and is available on clear vinyl with a silkscreened B-side. There are two different colors available for the screenprint. You can listen to the entire record here.

I'm stoked to say that preorders are finally up for the Assault versions of both PUNCH LPs. While their amazing s/t LP will be pressed on black, red and red/white swirl vinyl, "Push Pull" gets an exclusive gatefold cover. Colors for this are black, white/black swirl and clear/black swirl, in theme with the San Francisco fog. Of course, both records are highly recommended.

Also up is something we at Assault Records only rarely try our hands on, a PUNCH shirt. It's the "DC Cross" design, only now it reads "Punch Crew", which is awesome of course. To make this extra special, there'll be a small back print and even a sleeve print too. These'll be made to order, and won't be available again at a later time. If you want one, better head right to the shop and place your order.

PUNCH will be coming back to europe this summer, tour dates will be posted as soon as I get them. Trust me, you don't want to miss these guys (and a gal) when they're laying waste to a town near you. As good as their records are, their live shows are even better.

Also at the plant right now is the new JUST WENT BLACK 12". The cover is still being worked on, so preorders will be up as soon that is finished and tests are approved. This one will be special, just wait and see.

Two new releases out late november!

First up is the vinyl version of the MAN THE CHANGE debut LP. "Forgiver" is 12 tracks of heavy rocking hardcore with an undeniable 90's influence. Powerful and melodic, accentuated with spot-on chorus parts, these songs are passionate and memorable. The LP is a split release between ASSAULT RECORDS, DEAFCULT RECORDS and MAN THE CHANGE and limited to 500 copies.

We're also very proud to add REMISSION to the Assault family. Their brand of late 80's/ early 90'2 melodic hardcore is reminiscent of bands like Verbal Assault, (late) Uniform Choice and 411. Add to that presonal and political vocals and you know why we teamed up with the fine folks at AMENDMENT RECORDS to reissue their LP here in europe. The Euro version comes with new cover art and an exclusive color. Quantities are limited, so you might want to snatch up a copy before their new EP on REACT! RECORDS makes them a household name.

Represses of both PUNCH LPs are in the works and we have special plans for both. I'll tell you more as soon as we're ready to go, which will be soon. Can't wait to have these back in stock.

JUST WENT BLACK recently recorded their new record which should be out in early 2011. There's now name yet, but we're planning something nice for this as well, so look for preorders sometime early next year.

It's true... after numerous delays the new ANOTHER BREATH LP "The God Complex" is finally out. (Paid) preorders have shipped, look for your records soon.

There are still copies left of each color/version, including the preorder edition, but they're going fast. Don't sleep on this, it's such an amazing record.

After the aborted winter tour, ANOTHER BREATH will return to europe this summer (july/august). I couldn't be more excited to see them again. More details on this as they develop.

The new page is done, but it's still bare bones. Don't worry, it'll fill up soon enough. I just need to find some time to add pressing infos and to upload a few pictures.

XsentientX.com will be relaunched soon as well. We've been kicking it old school so far, but there'll be a proper webstore soon.
